The development of deep sea fisheries: Namibian orange roughy
  1. OLRAC was instrumental in the development of the Namibian orange roughy fishery, by virtue of the following: The formation of a consortium of expertise for carrying out exploratory fishing, the attraction of venture capital, the development of specialised data logging software. However, at the present time OLRAC has no commercial interest in this fishery.
